It has become a tradition to recognize the quality and excellence of University of La Verne alumni. Each year, the Distinguished Alumni/Professor Awards Committee will review nominations and the Alumni Advisory Board will make final selections for awards in the following categories:

In honor of the University of La Verne's 125th Anniversary, Join us in recognizing the 125 Notable Leos For Life during the 2017 Alumni Awards Dinner and Dance on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 6:00 PM at the Sheraton Fairplex Conference Center in Pomona, CA.

Distinguished Professor

The University of La Verne Alumni Advisory Board recognizes the quality of education and dedication provided by the faculty at University of La Verne.  We honor this dedication and excellence with an annual Distinguished Professor Award. Dedicated Service to the University


Named after Ann '71, '74, '96 & Steve '68 Morgan for their dedication and 26 years of service to the University of La Verne, the nominee for this award has continuously demonstrated a strong commitment to alma mater and the campus community. The Ann and Steve Morgan Award is not traditionally given in recognition of a single remarkable achievement, but is reserved for an alumnus or alumna who has achieved and maintained and lifetime of committed service to the University.
